Applying for our 2024 Competition

If you're a young woman between the ages of 13-28 and looking for an opportunity to earn college scholarships, serve your community, develop public speaking skills, and perfect your interview and performance skills, then the Miss Placentia/Yorba Linda Competition may be for you!

Apply today to learn more about our program and for an opportunity to become a candidate not only locally, but at Miss California and Miss America!

Teen Eligibility

Must live in Placentia, Yorba Linda, Anaheim or Fullerton; or attend a school in the Placentia/Yorba Linda Unified School District, Anaheim Unified School District or Fullerton Unified School District or attend a private school in Placentia, Yorba Linda, Anaheim or Fullerton.
Must be 13 by July 1st, 2024 and no older than 17 on July 1st, 2024.
Must be a United States Citizen
Must have minimum 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale)

Miss Placentia/Yorba Linda Eligibility

Must live or work (Full Time) in Placentia, Yorba Linda, Anaheim or Fullerton; or attend a high school in the Placentia/Yorba Linda Unified School District, Anaheim Unified School District or Fullerton Unified School District; or attend California State University Fullerton, Fullerton College, Hope International University, Biola University, Bethesda University or West Coast University.
Must be 18 years old July 1st, 2024 and not older than 28 years old on July 1st, 2024.
Must be a United States citizen
Must be of good moral character
Must be female and never married
Must never have had children

THIS APPLICATION IN NO WAY GUARANTEES ACCEPTANCE INTO THE MISS PLACENTIA & MISS YORBA LINDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. ALL PRELIMINARY DECISIONS REGARDING ACCEPTANCE INTO THE MISS PLACENTIA & MISS YORBA LINDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MISS PLACENTIA & MISS YORBA LINDA SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE.

APPLICANT/PARENT ORIENTATION

I UNDERSTAND THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY PARENT/APPLICANT ORIENTATION. IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND, I WILL SEND A SUITABLE REPRESENTATIVE IN MY ABSENCE.
